Beachhouse Details Part 2 {bath}

We are making headway on the beach house renovation.
Although I haven't been down to see for myself, we now have Sheetrock up on the newly placed walls.

I've managed to order some of the bath fixtures and never thought I could fall in love with sinks and plumbing like I have.

This is an inspiration photo for the downstairs bath.

Farm house sink

I found a great online resource for vintage reproduction bath and kitchen fixtures.

Take a look at my kitchen farm sink that will be used in my bathroom.

Moving to the other side of the downstairs bath, here is the tub inspiration:

The bathtub faucet arrived this week.
Loooooooooove!!!!!!!!!

Wall Mount Faucet with English Telephone Shower - Porcelain Lever Handles

Moving upstairs to the master bath, here are a few inspiration photos:

Master Bath cabinet, mirror, light fixture, countertop. wainscoting and tiled floor
I am loving the black bath cabinetry in this bath with the campaign hardware and the square drawer pulls.
Also love the basketweave tile floor and mixing brass and chrome finishes.

Upstairs bath
Although we do not have enough square footage for a separate shower and bath, this showerhead really caught my eye.

I am thinking showerhead and faucet combo with a cast iron tub may do the trick.

Vintage Tub & Shower Set with Lever Handle - Satin Nickel Upstairs Bath/Shower

Then I find photos like the one below and I am having a tough time deciding which way to go.

linen shower curtain + dark towels + marble + vintage school chairs

Yet another direction.

 Too many choices!!!!!

  3. Aw, I want that bathroom faucet too! You did great in finding a replica of your bathroom ideas. And about your tub and shower, I think your original inspiration, which is a shower and tub combo, would be better to maximize the space. That will give you more room for your other ideas like the cabinetry.

  4. I like the first inspiration photo since it looks simple but elegant. You don't need to go with a lot of details to make it beautiful. Well, if I have that kind of bathroom, I think I would just add a sheer curtain, so it wouldn’t make the area too bright. I want it to look dramatic yet toned down.
